oh, such a nice word. family. being away makes you appreciate family so much. its not that you dont appreciate family when your with them, but being away makes u realise how lucky you are.
To my mum and dad, thank you so much for the hotel. i felt so bad for booking it, but now having done so, i feel soooooo much better knowing i have a big, nice warm bed to go to! i am already feeling better! i cant wait to shower! ahhhhh! so nice. so i truly thank you soooo much. i will repay you by being the best daughter i can be! at this point that's all i can offer!
I have done well with my money! i haven't touched my bank account. only the cash i had when i first arrived. and i still have over 250 pounds. so go me!
This is our flat at the moment:
so i guess its not such a bad thing we're getting evicted. Yes, we are getting evicted! found out yesterday. so its gonna be a mad rush trying to find a place to live within the next week. we have a week to go. but there's a room above where kris works which could work for us. we have the function room above kris's work, which we can have rent free, but it comes with its downs. ie. no beds, couches only, which i can see many problems with, and we have to be packed and out when there's parties on - usually strippers. so that's a tad gross. but we'll find soemthing. at least if we have to, we can have the function room rent free for a while. but the room above that is only 70 pounds a week, so split between us, its dirt cheap. and its really cosy and warm and the staff here are great! and i'm always getting free meals and coffee...so it can't be bad! i think it may be a problem tho when jess and lucy get here. a bit of a squeeze!
Well, i have been in london for nearly a week now. and its unfortunate i haven't had a chance to go see everything. nik and kris are working a lot and i'm still sick. but after my lovely stay at the hilton, next week looks bright. besides, i have another 6 odd months (i mean, err, 2 weeks dad!).
So no real updates at this point, but i hope to show you all some great stuff by next week when i don't feel like i have a pile of bricks in my lungs and head.
Just thought i'd add a 'me in london' photo, for those who dont have access to my myspace for the rest of them.
